Tales From The Void

Seasoned filmmakers at Envoi Entertainment managed to garner support for an anthology series adapted from the viral personal stories of ghosts and unexplainable spooky events on Reddit's cult "No Sleep" board. Known for its bone-chilling tales and first-person scary experiences they needed a creepy look and feel that would resonate with the more than 16 million members, who had vocally expressed their high expectations once this project was announced.

We created a hand-drawn typeface and illustrated identity to be applied to a variety of titling, multimedia, print and promotional needs.

Visual Identity

The expectations of the established fanbase coupled with discerning clients made this pivotal part of the project's branding an exercise in understanding the subtleties of the genre and culture this program was geared towards. Getting buy-in from those two groups was a priority and would be the bar for success. With rave reviews of the first released season and anticipation for what else is next this series is a favourite among fans and it's creators alike.
